"I'll wait for you..."

Still, all I could think of were the homeless families who don't have all of the equiptment that we have to keep Buck warm on the street. We were able to escape first to the Cathedral and then to our warm van. I think that remembering (and trying to help) the poor and abandoned is what Good Friday is really about. The 4 Stations that we did hear were awesome. I'm just hoping that next year is a bit warmer.
Also, we were able to see a screening of The Passion of the Christ at a local Parish and a friend of ours, Fr. Shawn Aaron, was one of the Priests who worked on the film. He spoke and explained a lot of the thinking behind the movie. He also told some stories about the actors and what they personally added to the movie. It was a great ending to the most solemn day of the year (Christianity-wise). The picture above is from one of my favorite scenes where Jesus looks over at the person nailing his hand to the Cross. That's the way I figure He looks at me sometimes...

This last picture is just nice, I think. It reminds me of an Easter card I saw that has a daisy on the front with the petals coming off. The first petal says "God Loves you" and the next one says "God loves you more" (as opposed to the "loves you not"). I just think that sums up the way I think about God. It's like a contest with Himself to love us as much as possible. Incredible. And I, for one, totally don't deserve it.
Have a great Easter.
Back to myself (and friends and family!) on Monday.
