"O beautiful, for spacious skies..."

We went swimmin' down by the river for 4th of July.
A higher view. This river (tributary or whatever) is COLD.
Buck "representing" the USofA with his little shirt.
Clemmie's mom (Joya), Buck & Clemmie. She was much more adventurous with exploring the rocky river.
Buck on the walk toward the river. I love that "tigger" hat he's wearing.
The kids would have rather pushed the entire way. Makes for a slow trip...
almost there!
All of these pictures are from the 4th of July, which we spent with Clemmie and her mom swimming in the local tributary of the river. We are getting loads of use out of that wagon we bought a few weeks ago...the kids are now enjoying pushing it from out house to the woods (or all over the local amusement parks).

Today is cloudy and windy, which is a change from the warm, sunny weather we've been enjoying during Stampede week here in calgary. I have a ton of new pictures to upload and discuss, but they might be pre-empted by the arrival of my neice, Sammy Davis Junior (SDJ). She arrives (scheduled) at 1pm today. Buck has no idea that his older cousin is arriving and I'm sure that he'll be in heaven with his very own "big sister" for the month of July.

On a sad note, it is very windy today and our grill blew off of the patio! RKZ was here and is mourning the loss (well, it was too windy to figure out what the damage is). :) I'll keep you posted on the very important development. More either today or tomorrow as I keep a running commentary on how SDJ's trip goes!
