"Farmer Brown had four red apples"
Buck's Suzuki Music recital last Saturday
I don't know if you can see Buck through all of that yellow. He's in the center below the girl with the white hat.
difficult when Daddy takes the pictures. He's not as into it.
Here are some lovely photos of me a couple of days after the wisdom tooth removal. I think I look a bit drugged up.
Uncle went home this morning after a night of "Grady man" celebration. The boys watched "Strange Brew" and the third season of Entourage while drinking some strange beers named "Alpine" and "Big Bear Beer" (I think that was the second one). Entourage takes on some serious philosophical meaning after a few beers. Also, 1 am doesn't seem so late after those same beers. Amazing what beer can do :) It was a fun evening, but I spent a lot of it on the phone organizing Challenge. It was easy when I was faced with a night of "Up North, Eh?" from the boys all night.
Buck was safely asleep, thank God.
Big news that Obama has the democratic nomination. Can't wait for his choice of VP. Do we all think it will be Hilary? Hmmm - what a strange culmination of events. I do have to say that I am glad that our country is at a place where a black man has a real chance to be President. I'm still voting for Alan Keyes (also a black man) but there is a lot that appeals to be about Obama and I can understand why people are choosing to vote for him. John Kennedy-esque, really.
We're a bit out of the fray up here in the "great white North" (eh?) Mostly just trying to keep Max from digging up all of the sod and trying to keep Buck from killing Max (in a friendly "I didn't mean it" toddler way).
Excited for the weekend.
