"O the weather outside is frightful"

These are all snowman pictures. Buck & RKZ had a good afternoon building him. Some teenaged neighbors (I think) knocked his head off yesterday. Buck was pretty sad. As nominal mommy, I keep forgetting to fix him until we drive away and Buck starts crying that our poor snowman is headless.



I've been uncontrollably busy over the last month - seriously.

Today, it is not letting up, but I am taking a minute from my never-ending Christmas card experience to blog a bit. It snowed a few days ago and it's SO PRETTY here. It was 37F/2C today, which is really warm for how much snow there is and we enjoyed the outside as much as we could. It's supposed to be a high of -20C/-4F on Saturday, which is a temp I can't even imagine at this point.

So, I'm posting pictures from Sunday so that I seem as though I'm living my life in "real time." I will post our pictures from our amazing trip to Mexico this weekend (the trip was 2 weeks ago). But today, it's Christmas time in Calgary and all is right with the world.
