"It happens"

It's 2:00 am and Thunder is in the middle of a "crying/awake" spell, so I'm blogging. The sleep was going pretty well for awhile, but if Thunder sleeps in the afternoon, he's as bad as buck with staying awake all night. Last night, Thunder was up from 1 - about 3:30. I have him in the swing and he's protest crying for sure.

I'm not sure if I posted the smiling pictures. Thunder has started smiling and recongnizes us a bit more. He was looking around for me during Buck's swimming lesson today. It's exciting to have Thunder know us.

Ma Joad is going home on Tuesday - it's 3 nights and it will be tough to have her go, but I know that Gma J and Pa Joad will be happy to have her back. I'm sure she'll enjoy getting her life back also. She's been spending 3 weeks playing "rescue Ranger" and "zoo and circus." Not totally normal activities for a woman in her ... um , late 40's :)
