"You know I like my chicken fried - cold beer on a Friday night..."

Wow, I just wrote a lot on this blog and then accidentally deleted it. I think it's a sign. I has started raining here (rained a lot yesterday). It was in the 50's last night (low teens, Canada) but we've seen the pictures of snow in Calgary and I'm conflicted between missing my dear friends and never wanting to live in that bitter cold again. We went to Disneyland last night. As I was zipping up H-P's little jacket, I knew that in Calgary, this would be a normal routine. Here, it's just for a night walking through an amusement park. I was relieved, I must admit. 

Thunder is SO EXCITED about the Toy Story movies right now. He was literally jumping out of his seat when he saw Buzz from far away. He couldn't get to the character fast enough. Buck was happy too, but he spent the entire time analyzing the costume and the person inside :) 

 Yesterday, as we waited out the rain, we built the "worlds' biggest train track" around the dining room table. Today, we are going on round two after baseball (the boys are in a combo soccer/baseball fundamentals class on Saturdays).

This weekend is chock full of fun. RKZ and I are running in a 5K on Sunday. My parents arrive this afternoon and RKZ is leaving for Calgary for most of next week...I was trying so hard to go with him but my parents can't stay the entire time we would have needed. Next time, I will work it all out no matter what. Even if I have to zip a baby snow jacket.
