"Wanna feel the warm breeze, sleep under the palm trees, feel the rush of the ocean..."

Now that I have seen Kelly Clarkson in concert, I will only use her songs as headers. Kelly Clarkson ROCKS!

I'm serious. Of course, the only way to see Kelly (we're best friends now) is with a group of 20-something women and a favorite 12 year old girl (SDJ). You must check to make sure that everyone present knows her songs by heart and is willing to dance like crazy at the slightest provocation. Also, you must make friends with everyone around you and one of the women should yell "I'm addicted to Kelly!" throughout the concert (aptly titled "the Addicted tour").

I don't know if it's age or the fact that I really like Kelly Clarkson or even the singer's gracious way of saying "thank you so much" after almost every song. But this could possibly be the best concert I have ever attended. I really liked Kelly even more by the end. She sang every song on her popular second album and even spent 3 song-lengths singing in the audience. I simply cannot wait for her next album (due out this winter). Forget about Samantha - for about 4 hours, I was a 12 year old girl. And I'm so glad I went.

By the way, everyone will love her new song, "Maybe." And thanks, so much, to the Yellow Rose of Texas (YRT) for the tickets. Sorry about the "Beautiful Disaster." Really.
