The Duke & Duchess arrived around lunchtime today & we've had a good few hours of showing them around & touring some Canadian shops. Buck is thrilled to see his Grandma & Grandpa and he hasn't stopped giggling at them (especially Grandpa) since they arrived. He was giggling especially during "The Great Poop Fiasco" of 2006.

RKZ came home with all of us after lunch and he needed a little "private time" in the Washroom after our meals. RKZ spent a few minutes with us after his washroom moment & then he went back to work. The Duke & Duchess and I were spending some time talking & I put Buck down for a much needed nap. Well...everyone needs a little "private time" once in a while --and the Duke used the same room as RKZ had. Next, the Duchess took her turn. No sooner had she flushed (and nothing that would clog a toilet) then we hear: "Help! help! Come here!" from the WC.

The toilet, much as our lives, runneth over. Not only did it overflow, but the water made its gravity-aided way into our basement utility room. The water's journey carried it through the phone modem in our utility room (we have cable/digital phone). So, we were frantically wiping up toilet water, trying to find a plunger & I was attempting to call RKZ @ work, but the phone was dead due to the water-sogged modem.

It turns out that RKZ left a "pint-jar poop" & indirectly broke our phones. We had no plunger, so we had to run to the Canadian home store, RONA & we bought two -- one for each level of our house. The phone technician is coming on Saturday to fix our phones (don't call before then). After we bought the plungers, Buck decided that he had to help Grandpa Duke "fix" the bathroom. This picture is unofficially called "The 2 Plunging Dans."
