"The color of the sky as far as I can see, is cold grey"

Trying to stay in synch with the actual life events and pictures. We're still on the Victoria, BC shots, so I'm thinking I'll load them all up today so that I can switch to my aunt and uncle's visit ASAP. We had such a great time with them this weekend. They are already off to a legal conference in Vancouver (we're such a Canadian family!) but we had so much fun while they were here.

I am back to my desperate funk of missing people who really know us. There is something about sitting with family or with people who love you and have seen most of the facets of you. Talking to them is so much easier, so much more peaceful. There is no "trying." I'm starting to sound like Oprah. But, the ease of their visit convinces me that homesickness isn't just designated to a place...we can be homesick for people even more. "Person-sick"

Also began the foray into Potty Training today - but that too deserves a post of it's own.

Today - Victoria calls.

OK - after about 20 minutes of waiting to pictures to upload, I've decided to go find something else to do. I'll try to get those pictures posted later.
