"I am surfin' with the Spirit"

Hummm...having a bit of a photo issue today. I finally uploaded the "surfin' with the spirit" VBS pictures, only I can't find them in my computer! Woops. I will have to upload pictures of Buck, Grandma Joad and SDJ instead.

Yesterday was more of an organization day than anything. We were able to pick up some dinner and clean up a bit around the house. Pa Joad had to go to the American Consul to do some lawyer stuff (yawn). He was sad to have to deal with beauracracy (spelling) on his vacation. Ma Joad was a big hit with Buck...although SDJ is by far his FAVORITE. A lot of tickling and reading and general playing. It's been fun to have so many people around. And the hits just keep on coming!

Coach K1 and Hoonka arrive with A-man (2 yrs) and K.K. (11 months) in a few hours. Supermodel D and Superman M arrive tomorrow with a friend for SDJ. Supermodel D is running a triathlon today. I walked a few feet and have been running up and down the stairs - am I fit too? (ha. ha.) My biggest motivation to work out today has been the fact that other people are doing our laundry lately (i'm so grateful) but they have shrunk all of my favorite shirts. I hope spin class can get me back into them!

We watched a cute movie called "The Rookie" last night. It's an older (90's?) baseball movie. Really sweet, but I missed the end as I had to go to bed and was about to drop over with fatigue. I hear the end is great, though. More "family fun" posts as the week goes by!
