"Take me out to the ball game..."

OK, I know that that song isn't from Kelly Clarkson (if you're keeping up with the posts), but I'm sure she's sung it once in her life.
So RKZ, Buck and I headed out for the Angel's game a few days back (it's hard to keep up daily when I'm already behind) and we got in line for tickets. I was just saying that we had to ask for seats in the shade, when a really nicely dressed couple approached us and asked if we were in line for tickets.
When we said we were, they handed us two tickets and said, "We got these from work. We think they're pretty good. See you inside." It turns out that they were field level tickets, about 15 rows up from the Angel dugout! Awesome! The only drawback was that they were in the sun and Buck was looking awfully hot by the third inning. RKZ was in heaven, though, and he commented that Angel's stadium (OK, I know that's in Florida - but you know what I mean) is one of the best places on earth to watch baseball. The grass is so green and the fans are so fun. Everyone seemed to be wearing red (except those poor, deluded A's fans). And the men next to us were superfans, totally commenting on the game in loud, "enthusiastic" tones.
By the 5th inning, we were gloriously covered in shade and I could stop carrying Buck up to the bathroom to douse him with water. Once the shade arrived, it was a wonderful time & he began his gyration dancing and clapped to all of the great new sounds. Sadly, the Angel's lost. But I got Buck a hat to make up for the Roots hat that he threw away on our walk a few days back. A girl's gotta' have priorities.
Once we came home from the game, my only older brother JJKJ and his wife and two boys were at the house. We all had some dinner and spent the evening talking. Good times. It was fun to get pictures of Buck, SDJ and the boys. Shocking how alike they all look.
Lastly, I'm including a picture of Tater and Buck. Tater is a good friend (also a teacher - a running theme with us) who has promised to make his famous enchiladas while we are here. Now it's here for everyone to see -- so we expect him not to welch :)
