"It's the most wonderful time of the year"

True to my word, I am posting today. TWO DAYS IN A ROW, for those of you keeping score :)
RKZ, Buck and I are cleaning today & putting away laundry. I also have to pick up some balloons for a Regnum Christie Eucharistic Vigil for the feast of Christ the King (CTK). FYI, CTK is the last day of the Roman Catholic calendar -- an unofficial Catholic New Years Eve, if you will. It is also one of the Church's greatest feasts. It's actually tomorrow (hence the word "vigil"). Regardless, I'm not totally sure about the balloons, but it's a party and I'm new to the group - so what can you do?
It is quiet and a little sad with the Joads gone. They called and have safely crossed the border (even after forgetting their passports). There was a hassle coming up from the Canadian guards (I guess they thought it was an elderly lady smuggling) but the US let them right through. We were glad. Buck keeps yelling "Na Na." He's been so spoiled with all three of his grandmas here over the last few weeks. I hope he doesn't sink into a depression for the next 30 days before we head out to Colorado for Christmas.
Tomorrow, I will also give some low down on my latest foray into the social scene here in Calgary: lipo & botox & trophy wives - O my!
