"O how I wish it would raindown on me..."

A picture of me!! Can you believe it? St. Patrick's Day at the zoo with Ma Joad. Notice that we Kelly/Grady's are all decked out in our green. We're still "organzied fun" addicts. Buck doesn't look too thrilled, though.
Checking out the hippo tank.
Buck pointing to - seriously- God only knows what & ignoring the 2 large hippos. Notice RKZ's St. Pat's shirt from (I think) 2002.
RKZ & Buck at the waterfall in the zoo gardens (indoor, of course)
same picture slightly shifted. The fog is the water vapor in the terrarium (that is not how you spell that).

It's RAINING, yeah! That is good news for those of us here who expected to awaken to a blanket of snow - 5cm to be exact (not that you Americans know how much that is - ha. ha). But NO...it is warm enough to snow! Just barely 37F/-16C, but still. I don't care how cold I am if I don't have to walk out in the slush for a few days. I never thought I would be reverting to weather talk, but I'm a beaten woman. It's almost the only thing people here talk about these days. Rumor has it that this is the worst winter ever in terms of perpetual snow. Ah...I have all the luck :)

Buck and I had our last Gymboree class. I'm sad to think that this might have been the final one for us forever. We begin actual gymnastics in a few weeks. Wow! Time does rush by. Of course, I'd like that phenomenon to take over at around 4:30pm when Buck is dead tired, hungry and we're both just waiting around for Daddy to come home and save us (but at that point he's still 1 1/2 hours away!). I had a great talk with my friend, Inukshuk, from Toronto today. Missing the GTO in a big way now. Missing California always as well. But Calgary is growing on me. I guess the rain does that, eh?
