I can't believe it's 4th of July already! Canada Day (July 1st) came and went, and then we had the Stampede Parade yesterday...The Calgary Stampede has begun - 2 weeks of carnival and drinking and concerts and pancake breakfasts (free). The parade is the big kick-off, and we have friends whose company sponsers a pancake breakfast and seating on the route every year. This year was a REALLY good time as Buck and his friends were so into the parade and face painting and festivities. It made it so much more fun.

We also JUST got back from the Duke and Duchesses 40th anniversary party in Colorado Springs. We had SUCH a great time! So much happened in the 10 days and I got A LOT of great pictures that I'm going to be posting this weekend and the coming week. We'll be off to the Stampede over a few of the days, but we have pictures galore of that in the past, so this will be a great catch up week for me.

Happy Birthday, America! We miss you and can't believe we'll miss another 4th celebration. I actually cried a few weeks ago thinking that my boys won't see the fireworks and bru-ha-ha every year of the 4th. Too much fun, really. Next year, FOR SURE.
