"Jungle Love - oeoeo"

ZOO in the frozen tundra :)
Buck chooses a new mommy

My boys squashed together.

Went to the zoo a few days ago. Today, we went to a local Mall and the boys spent an hour in the indoor playground. I am in full "escapist" mode at the moment. I totally blew off things that needed to get done today to just sit and watch my boys play. I'm thinking that this is what boys are for.

About the moving. I will post pictures of the new place (new to us) this weekend. We have a home inspection on Saturday.

I was watching a TV show about a blogger who got sick last night (HOUSE, if you watch it) and I was struck by the fact that she blogged about every tiny detail of her life. This eventually helped with her diagnosis, but I was more struck by the fact that I post about almost nothing and since Thunder has come to us, I'm lucky if I post once a week. And even though this character's blog was a huge source of controversy, I find that blogging is more theraputic (I'm not looking that up) for me. Also, she had millions (or a lot) of readers, I'm thinking it's just you - and maybe even you aren't reading the post, you're just looking at the pictures.

Regardless, I will post this move for my own benefit. Also, it might give my very pregnant friends something to read in the middle of the night when they can't sleep. They may have the catharsis of the fact that they are not in the middle of a giant move (unless they are, which begs the question of why they are spending precious time reading my stupid blog).

So, to make a long story even longer, we found a house on 2 acres that we really like. It needs to be completely redone because it was built in 1985 and looks to never have been remodeled. But, it has been kept clean and in nice condition, so we decided to make an offer. Low and behold, they accepted it and now we have to sell our house in a terrible housing market. That's ok with both of us because currently, we would hold hands with our neighbors through dinner if we opened our windows...of course, those same neighbors put their house up for sale yesterday morning.

I'll post later about our agent (the "she-shark") & our "stager" - and, yes, the fact that we're using a "stager" makes me feel pretentious and strange. But if he sells my house, I'll record the entire thing for a reality show and be edited as the "b-" with no problems. let's be honest, there wouldn't need to be a lot of editing.
